On Wednesday 27th June, FCC hosted a Coaching for Excellence Showcase.

Colleagues from 18 West Sussex schools attended along with representatives from Kent and Warwickshire education authorities.

Would you like to see what top quality GCSE and A-Level Art and Media work looks like? Would you like to relax with a drink and canapés on a summer evening? Then come to Felpham on the 11th July for our prestigious annual Summer Arts Evening.

This year the Art Department will be exhibiting in both the Hall and the Cafeteria, with sculpture as well as paintings. In addition, there will be Photography, Graphics and Resistant Materials work showcased. Mr Hargood will be screening original films in the E-Learning Centre, and an English workshop with a well-known children’s writer, Alan Durant, will be taking place in the library.

It is an opportunity for students to see what is being achieved by their fellow students in the college, and for parents and people in the local community to appreciate the talent and dedication that their youngsters put into something when they are motivated by it.
