On Monday 3rd and Wednesday 5th March the year 10 BTEC Business group went on a visit to Drusillas Park in East Sussex to learn about customer service. This zoo is aimed primarily at children under 12 and their families. Drusillas contains lots of small animals that are very active rather than some of the bigger zoos that contain large animals that sleep all day like lions! Our favourite animals were the lemurs, penguins and the lar gibbons.

The students had an informative talk, learning about how Drusillas caters for all its customers and gets feedback from the visitors to the park. They use this feedback to make improvements to the park- the most recent addition is a Thomas the Tank train that the group that went on Wednesday had a ride on! Students are completing a unit of work about customer service as part of their BTEC qualification.
