At lunchtime and after school, students can attend a variety of PE related sports and activities.

Physical Education KS4

During Key Stage 4 students follow a structured and balanced course that aims to cater for the interests and need of all students.  The aim is to foster positive and enthusiastic participation in a wide of sports and activities.  This is a non-examination course.  It is, however, a compulsory element of Key Stage 4 under the requirements of the National Curriculum.
We also offer the opportunity to study the AQA GCSE in Physical Education as well as the BTEC Sport Award (Level 2).
Please refer to the ‘Key Stage 4 Courses Booklet‘ for further details.

Physical Education KS5

At Key Stage 5 we offer a choice between the Level 3 BTEC Subsidiary Diploma (equivalent to a single A Level) and the Level 3 BTEC Diploma (equivalent to two A Levels) in Sport (development, coaching and fitness).
We are also able to offer the AS and A2 course in Physical Education.
Please refer to the ‘Sixth Form Prospectus‘ for further details.
