Creative Careers EXPO

Year 9 students recently took part in an interactive careers workshop, introducing them to a wide range of jobs and roles using creative skills.

Throughout the morning students attended a Creative Café, organised by Culture Shift, where they met with a number of different businesses and were given the opportunity to take part in short practical challenges and workshops of their choice, exploring creative industries skills. The workshops on offer were Photography and Videography, Motion Capture, Bespoke Careers from the Arts and The Games Industry.

The Creative Skills EXPO is part of Arun inspires, a local programme led by youth arts charity Artswork, alongside Arun District Council and supported by Arts Council England. Over 3 years, Arun Inspires aims to increase access to culture and engagement with the arts and creativity for young people across the District.
