At Felpham Community College our aim is to ensure that every student receives a comprehensive careers education to assist them to develop employability skills and knowledge of available pathways to enable them to make informed decisions at key stages in their education.
In January 2018 the Department of Education issued a new Careers Strategy which outlined the 8 Gatsby Benchmarks that schools should meet by the end of 2020. The Benchmarks are as follows:-

The National Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance on learning, training, career choice, career development, job search and the labour market. It can be accessed online, by telephone and face-to-face (for people aged 19 and over).
