Bromcom’s My Child at School is an online portal that enables parents and carers to access information about their child in real time via any modern web browser. This is the main method of communication we use at Felpham Community College regarding your child’s timetable, attendance, homework, trips, reports and behaviour (Praise and Consequence points) therefore it is vital that parents have access to this. Students have their own version called “Student Portal”.
MCAS can be accessed via an app on both the Apple app store and Google Play (Android). See below. If you would prefer you can also access the system on a web browser on your mobile or computer device.
We routinely only set up the Priority 1 contact on MCAS (the adult who applied for the school place) but please feel free to let us know if you would like an additional parent or carer added to MCAS by emailing data@felpham.org.uk.
An MCAS account will be created for the parent on the child’s first day of school (except for September transition students, where an MCAS account will be created in the previous summer term to gather relevant information.)
To activate your MCAS account, please go to the app or website and select the ‘reset / forgot password’ option*. Enter the email address you have registered with the school and follow the instructions, which should lead to you being sent an email with further instructions on creating a password and opening the account. If needed, the school ID is 13389.
*If you are already using MCAS at FCC, your new starter will be automatically added. You may need to log out and log in again to see this. Siblings can be viewed by clicking on the photo / name of the visible student and this will open a list of any other children you have associated to your account.
*If you are already using MCAS for another school, your new starter will be automatically added. You may need to log out and log in again to see this and when you do, it should ask you if you want to open the Primary school account or the Felpham Community College account.
If this doesn’t work, please contact data@felpham.org.uk stating the reason for contact, the names of your children at the school, and your full name and relationship. We will then get back to you as soon as possible. Please do not use the parent sign up option as this will not work.
